The ISLAM AND IDENTITY conversation will be led by Mucahit Bilici, assistant professor of Sociology at John Jay College, author of Finding Mecca in America: How Islam Is Becoming an American Religion.

LaGuardia Community College (LAGCC) Student and Faculty Photography Exhibit

LAGCC students and faculty will spend their first month of school in the Western Queens community capturing the Faces of Islam.  Curated by LAGCC professor Scott Sternbach.

The goal of PCC’s “Beyond Sacred” project is to use theater and personal testimony to foster greater understanding among Muslim and non-Muslim communities in New York.
