PCC is internationally-recognized for bringing unheard voices to the stage through its Undesirable Elements series, which features real people speaking about culture and identity. Beyond Sacred will feature local community members speaking to their own experience of Muslim identity in a scripted oral history theater performance. The goal of PCC’s Beyond Sacred project is to use theater and personal testimony to foster greater understanding among Muslim and non-Muslim communities in New York.
